Eric and Frank Rademacher are my regnerative farming partners. They will help with the tillable portion of the farm. I'm excited that the soil health will begin to improve with their expertise.

One of several springs on my farm.

Bluestem Grass

This land was once covered with grasses like Bluestem. Thus the name of the farm. I've added native plants and grasses to my farm over the years.

Taking Sheep to Pasture

Around The Farm

Barn with blue roof with sheep in front of it

The new hay/sheep/horse barn is done!

A collage with pictures a various sheep.

As of Spring 2025, the flock is 14 pregnant ewes (or 13 since Fawn may not have been bred) and one whether, Eclipse. All that will change with lambing starting in April!!

Muddy white dog

Osage, a Maremma livestock guardian dog, will be a year old April 2025. She's still has puppy antics, but is learning her job and protecting her sheep.

An aerial view of the pasture layout, with lines indicating where trees will eventually be planted.

This is the plan for tree planting in the new pasture. This project won't be complete until Spring of 2026.
